
David Tendler
David Tendler is the founder
and a principal of the international consulting firm Tendler,
Beretz LLC. In 1981, he was named chairman and CEO of Phibro
Corporation, an international commodity trading company,
which subsequently acquired Salomon Brothers. Mr. Tendler
in 1982 became Co-Chairman and CEO of Phibro-Salomon (now
Citigroup). He serves also as a director of Savient Pharmaceuticals,
Iselin, New Jersey. Mr. Tendler has held leadership positions
in various public service organizations including currently
as Trustee of the Center for the Advancement of Women and
as a member of the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee
of the New York Blood Center, and formerly as a member of
the Board of Trustees of the Lennox Hill Hospital. He has
received awards for his charitable and public service work
from various organizations including the Henry Street Settlement,
and the Foreign Trade Society of Bernard M. Baruch College.
